I don't think it snows in Egypt. But this sphinx is in Cincinnati in Spring Grove Cemetery. It is cold in the heartland. We are to get 4-8 more inches of snow tomorrow, but the big story is the cold. By Monday our high will be below zero. I went today to find my swan. All of the lakes at Spring Grove are almost totally frozen. I thought he was gone, but I finally found him all the way across the largest lake in a tiny patch of water with two ducks. I hope they do OK these next several days
This is a great capture. Lovely composition and light! Hope it warms us soon....don't know how those swans survive the cold. Or any bird for that matter. Keep us posted.
Wonderful photo, the sphinx looks very important - which was probably the intention. I hope your swan makes it too, that sort of weather is so hard on wildlife. Stay warm and safe.
