I was so looking forward to abstract August. I have been having a drug reaction that I wouldn't wish on anyone. I took 3 and only 3 Gabapentin that is for nerve pain from damage from a botched back surgery years ago. I have been doing really well on Lyrica for years. But Lyrica costs $200 a month and that is with insurance. Gabapentin cost $4. I almost immediately had the worst taste in my mouth and every breath that I take smells. The literature says a "metallic" taste but that doesn't begin to describe it. I will quit whining now and leave it at that. But I was so hoping to have fun with this month.
I have taken Gabapentin before too for my neuropathy pain. You might try only two. I found that three really makes me loopy the next day. That might help to work up to the three.
