@peterdegraaff - You see it less and less here, since the government is trying to discourage tobacco growth. This barn owner appears to cure the tobacco the same way they do in Virginia, where I'm from. My first job was working in a tobacco field for .50 an hour!

Nice capture. We did a tour of a tobacco plantation when we visited Cuba a few years back. We had been advised to take toiletries to give to locals as gifts so all the hand-creams went to the ladies working in the tobacco barns as their hands looked worn and rough.
