Once my mom bought bacon bits for one of my dad's recipes, we've been using them on everything like salad, mash potatoes, ect. Someone told me that they're even good on ice cream. And I seem to recall Denny's restaurant selling a maple bacon sundae at one time. As a true lover of bacon I gotta try it...maybe...
I’ve eaten a chocolate bar with bacon bits in it. It was okay. I watch Food Network a lot, and it seems to be a trend to use it unconventional ways. I’m with you, though, I love the stuff! I’ve started throwing some of the bits into the green beans to give them more flavor.
