At the beginning of the month, this tree was full of blossoms, but now these are the only ones left. They were wrapping around the tree's trunk as if to say, "Don't let us go!" :D
I like your focus. If I may offer a suggestion though, I would try shooting it from a different angle to eliminate that out of focus flower on the left.
@clarkafb_brat - Highly appreciate the suggestion John! I sort of left the flower there on purpose. Could you give me a few reasons why eliminating it would have been more effective?
@cjphoto Compositionally, I think it would've been better to actually leave the leftmost flower and focused leaf out of the shot so that your eye stays on the 3 focused blooms. It just kinda creates awkward eye movement. I'm no pro...just offering my two cents. Doesn't make your shot right or wrong as it's all up to interpretation, but it would've just flowed better in my opinion. The best thing I would think is for you to shoot it without those two elements then compare the two and see what you think.
@clarkafb_brat - That does make a lot of sense. If these flowers are still there, I'll try it out and see the results. If not, I'll keep the suggestion in mind for later subjects. Thanks so much for the helpful critique John!
@cjphoto No problem Chris. I've got to work on my framing as well and please feel free to offer critiques on any of my photos if you see anything you think can be improved upon. There's always room for improvement in my opinion.
