I've always loved the way these purple flowers look on this tree. They're really pretty, but they have a trait that's not pretty. When the flowers hit the ground, they secrete a sticky fluid that stains concrete. And a tree like this used to hang right over our patio. It made quite the mess! This tree works much much much better in a park :)
