(Day 51) - Empty Twins

Rode bikes with some friends in the city of Long Beach today and we had a blast. Our plan was to ride our bikes along the beach but we ran out of time along the way therefore we rode them mainly in the city. This building wasn't too far away from the place we rented our bikes from. They seemed to be residential lofts but almost all of them were empty. Several blocks south of this building is the beach so bet the view from the top is gorgeous. While taking this shot, my cousin quickly sped by on his bike, photobombing...I mean...adding to my shot :)

Looks like a beautiful old building to live in!

Seems a shame that they're mostly empty...wonder if it needs a lot of work or is expensive for location? Nice of your cousin to 'add' to your shot!

@gigiflower - Plus there's a bakery with delicious cupcakes place on the ground floor which adds to making it a choice spot to live in ;)

@swilde - Thank you Sue! I always appreciate you kind comments!

@lynnb - More than likely it's very expensive for location, especially since it's so close to the beach. Many homes in California are expensive anyway but even more so around the coast and the beaches. Yep, he really added some 'presence' to offset the empty lofts.
