(Day 192) - Singing the Summer Blues

Hot breeze, sun pounding
Warm sand, waves sounding
The city lights, steamy nights
Yet why do I have the summer blues?

Occupy my time by hanging with friends
Going on scenic drives for miles on end
Family reunions and Bar-B-Q's
So why do I have the summer blues?

Soon summer time will come to an end
And there's no way that I can pretend
As the temperature cools
I still have the summer blues...
