I've always been fascinated with the color on a compact disc. Additionally, I've always loved the shots of 365ers who captured water drops on a CD so decided to go for it myself. I found a tip online about using an eyedropper to make it easer to place the water drops as well as make them different sizes. It worked really well and was quite simple to get the capture.
I've found that working with water and other liquids can be tons a fun and there are so many different kinds of photos that can be taken with liquid. Therefore, I've decided that all my photos this month with feature liquid in some shape or form. I think I'll call it Aqua October! :D
This is a great shot, I love the idea of aqua October! Can't wait to see wait else you have in store for us, are you going to try the elusive water crown at some point?
@cruiser - Thanks a bunch Chris! I found I get much more creative during a theme so I really like doing them. It's also much easier when I plan out the shots ahead of time so I have a whole list of photos I'm going to take this month
