(Day 328) - A Giant Swedish Fish!

Firstly, thanks some much for your comments on the Sweet Ride yesterday! I so enjoyed reading all the "sweet" puns!

Today I brought in a catch of awesome Swedish fish! Swedish fish are U.S. candies that were imported from...you guessed it...Sweden in the late 1950s and became a hug hit during the 60s and 70s. They're also one of the few gummy-like candies that doesn't contain gelatin, making them actually a vegetarian food!

They're also so much fun to play with! ◕‿◕
Such a bright and cheerful fish!

I'd rather play with them than eat them- but the colors really pop off the blue. Once again your creativity shines through!

Love gummy snacks, I don't think that would have lasted very long around here.

Once again, very creative! I go to Sweden fairly regularly and I can assure you that the Swedish fish are every bit as popular as ever! However, all they feature are the red kind. You would love it there - lots and lots of candy! Sorry you won't be able to join us next Saturday Chris, but hopefully in the future we can get you out to meet the gang and get some photos!

I love the way your mind works! :) Very cool shot, and so very interesting info - I had no clue they did not contain gelatin...
