(Day 16) - Leap Day! by cjphoto

(Day 16) - Leap Day!

Taking this photo is bringing back memories! The 2nd year of my project was a leap year and I photographed my leaping toy frog then too. Kind of have an unofficial tradition going on here. :)

This is my last green photo of the month! Tomorrow I'll begin the color Red! :)
I don't know how you did this -- but wow!! And also love seeing your 'green' series -- I'm very far behind on viewing and commenting. you have so many wonderful ones in green.

Fantastic leaping frog! You have some of the best trained toys I have ever seen!
How funny you did green in February ( a traditional RED month) and are doing red in March (a traditional GREEN month)

What an amazing Leaping Frog ...... it is funny that you reversed the green and red traditionally monthly themes or was it random?

@taffy - No worries Taffy! I'm sorely behind on viewing and commenting too. We get so busy but I thank your recent comment! I actually just threw him in the air and took the shot really quick...simple as that! Haha!

@grammyn @lesip - It was completely random! I do see why Feb is red (due to Valentines) and March is green (due to first month of spring). To tell you the truth, my mind has always reversed it and thought of February as a green month and March as a red month. I have no idea why!

And Katy, the toys are very well trained and love taking pictures! :D

@cjphoto Amazing! I thought you'd hung him by strings and then cloned them out. He's positioned perfectly and the focus is right on target.

Oh my gosh, Chris! I have pretty much taken a hiatus from commenting since June, and am trying to step back in. I see that after all these months, you're still just as silly as ever! This brought a big smile to my face! Fav. :)

@taffy - Thanks Taffy! I usually do clone out strings but I really wanted an actual leap. Was able to shoot in full sunlight which allowed me to use a fast shutter speed with big aperture number.

@grammyn - That's right! Green is March mayhem isn't it? And I still only see red.
