(Day 217) - Having a Hoot

Learned something new about the large eyes of an owl today. Their eyes are not eye BALLS, but elongated tubes fixed in place. For this reason, an owl cannot "roll" or move their eyes, they can only look straight ahead! Of course, they easily make up for this by the wide range of motion of their head.

Having the eyes of an owl could come in handy. Rolling my eyes with attitude has gotten me into trouble many times as a kid. Haha. :D
Great composition

Haha very cool, I love owls. Have you ever looked up the morphing owl? He puffs up in front of small or medium owls, but with bigger owls he makes himself tall and thin and his face is really awesomely creepy!!
