(Day 231) - Do I Wanna Wear Gray or Grey Today?

My Monthly Color Theme continues and now we have entered the color gray/grey.

Gray and grey are both accepted in the English language. Gray is the more popular spelling in the US, while grey reigns supreme in the UK and many other places. But as a kid, I used to say that gray meant the light tone of the color and grey was the dark tone of the color. I just love the mind of kids. So we have both a gray and a grey flat cap in my photo today. :P

That thinking is still in my head, so you'll probably see it as I spell the word this month. Or I might just use silver. :)

I love the colour grey :) either gray or grey :) funny how my spell check just underlined the GRAY spelling ... I guess it is British English Spell Check on a German Computer then

Well now, if I am referring to grey the colour I spell it with an 'e' but if I am writing a birthday card to Graham, I abbreviate his name to Gray and spell it with an 'a'! Anyway.... nice shot Chris!
