Before the month begins, I go through my calendar and plug in all my ideas each day's photo. Some days all I write is one word and figure out later what that photo will be.
Today's word was crayon. Now the image in my head was a simple shot of some excellently sharpened crayons. But, when I looked into our collection, all the purple crayons were little nubs.
Then I was hit with a memory of when my sister was little, coloring away in her coloring book with her favorite color in the world...purple. That's why all the purple ones look like this! Dunno why, but I couldn't help but smile at that little memory. :)
