(Day 49) - Backside Colors

I remember reading in my high school photography class that capturing flowers at different angles than what the eye is used to helps to make the photo is more unique. I've always thought the backside of flowers look almost as amazing as the front.

I also want to say thank you all for the amazing comments on my photos over the past days. I feel bad for getting behind on commenting myself, so much going on in life at the moment. Even still, gonna try my best to get to all your projects this week. :)
Flowers are, to me, hard ones to photograph as the images are difficult to create in a unique way. This works well the way you've used color, and your less common POV is effective.

I agree, there are so many details in the undersides, especially if you look through a macro lens. pretty colours and shapes in this Chris.

A great perspective. I love photographing flowers, from all angles. This is very pretty.

Amazing detail and color in this photo

Don't worry about getting to mine. I can wait and if you can't make it at all that's OK too. No pressure Chris

So often the support staff is forgotten, when they actually do the hard part. I like this and your DoF.

For some weird reason I straight away thought it was a foot holding a flower!

Beautiful! Yes, I think looking at the flower from the back is really the first thing you should do with your camera.
