(Day 286) - The Los Angeles Zoo

Over the weekend, CJ took photos of the old abandoned zoo. Now we're at the location where the zoo was moved to, which is still in Griffith Park (Yes, Griffith Park is that large)! This is the official Los Angeles Zoo.

This 133-acre zoo is home to more than 1,400 mammals, birds, amphibians, and reptiles. It's a fun zoo to explore and CJ is happy the animals have a much larger place to call home. 🦌😄

@olivetreeann - Very true! Earlier I photographed the defunct zoo which had bird cages so I like to think he's the ancestor of one of the ones that broke free! Hahaha
