CJ and I took a break from the pier today to walk around Third Street Promenade (commonly known as the Santa Monica Promenade). This large outdoor mall is basically right across the street from the beach.
Admittedly, I'm not a big shopper (unless it's for Lego). I'm visiting this mall for one reason and one reason only: the outstanding, awesome, brilliant Dinosaur Topiaries! Just look at those glorious bushes! They're dotted all around the promenade. Also, how cool to have them arch over this small children's play area with colorful balloons above. CJ was a bit concerned about my obsession, but come on, they're dinosaurs! What's not to love? 🦕😁

@monicac@olivetreeann - Thanks!!! CJ loves little dinosaurs but he has had some scary run-ins with large dinosaurs before. But they're starting to grow on him. He thanks you for the reassurance Ann :)
