Photographing these rose and trying something a bit different. 🌹
Once again, we have fires raging in California. They're not near me but close enough to affect the air. In any case, really hope everyone is safe and that the firefighters can contain it soon.
Also, sorry for the delay in posting; I'm feeling a touch overwhelmed this week. Will catch up posting the rest soon.
We have had so many fires around us here north of Sacramento for months, so I empathize. The way you caught the light on the roses makes them look like crystal. Very nice effect.
Sorry to hear about the fires and like you do hope that they get under control.
In regard to not posting, don't you worry about that. This should be fun Chris it's not supposed to be "a job". Take care of you first.😉
FAV I love the transparent effect you have captured with this photo.
I worry about you in all that tragedy out there. It is really scary to worry about the effects of fire and even if you weren’t threatened by the fire the smoke has got to be so damaging to your health. Stay as safe as you can, Chris.
Thanks so much everyone for your kind concern about the fires and for the wonderful comment on the photos. We just gotta keep taking it a day at a time.
@grammyn - Thanks a ton Katy! Its true, we have no idea how the air quality is affecting us. The pandemic has us mostly inside anyway which helps but that has its own challenges, can only stay inside so long. It's like which do we choose? lol. But I digress, we'll make it through a day at a time.
@jb030958 - Hahaha, thanks Jennie!! You're so right! I get a little too committed at times, I'm like so close to the end to completion. In any case, taking a break helped a ton!!!
