Can’t quite believe this, our roses are still flowering despite the minus temps we have been getting this past week. This is the latest bud to open, not a mark on it and there are still another 2 to come. They take a bit longer to open with the cold but the bush is still pushing out new growth. The temps for weeks now have been around -4 to 8c, cold miserable and icy.
I’ve never seen this before, well not in this part of the country(North East Yorkshire). It has a lovely perfume although with the cold this is not so evident.

Beautiful rose, spectacular in its colour. Amazing to see the roses are still blooming at this time of the year, mine are in hibernation and our weather , although cold for this part of the world, rarely falls below 9C at night.
