A closer look at the cliff edge of Roseberry Topping. You can see a group of people on top near the edge and someone making their way up the track leading to the top. It was quiet when I too this, usually there is a contestant stream of walkers going to and from the peak. The track is now broad and deep with all the footfall. To be honest I think it should be closed for part of the year so the land has time to recover before the summer onslaught. It never used to be as popular as it has been these past 20 years.

I love the light on the cliff edge. It looks a great place to visit and I agree, we are our own worst enemies sometimes. I’ve noticed increased footfall in areas by me too, especially since Covid as I guess more people are enjoying local walks more. A super shot, fav.
What a super shot of the top. I may have been up there in the past as we used to live in Middlesbrough when I was small, then in Billingham until I was 5. I can't remember!
