On the way to Castleton on the moor. The small moorland village is built on the ridge of the hill with a wonderful view of the vale to both sides of the ridge. As you travel through the village a right turn takes you over the very top of the moor along Blakey ridge where the road is just the width of he moor top and on to Hutton le Hole and a left turn takes you to Danby and Fryup Dale.
