The temperatures rose above freezing. The snow melted some and the puddle partially thawed. It was very difficult to figure out where the puddle began. In addition, it was difficult to know what part of the puddle was frozen and what part of it was water. I carefully stepped around the puddle to take shots of it. I really did not want to fall into frigid cold water. I did notice tire tred marks in some of the thawing ice. Yes, people had indeed been driivng over the puddle when the snow covered it. My shots of the tire treds did not come out well. Therefore, I selected this photo, because I liked how it showed some of the various layers of the puddle-frozen, partially thawed and thawed.
