Winter Storm Jupiter was not as bad as it could have been due to a few factors. My city did receive 2/10ths of an inch of ice. This image shows what the trees branches looked like about two hours before the peak of the ice accumulation.
@milaniet I liked the fact that my house kept its electricity. I liked taking pictures of the ice, but I kept hoping all the time I was shooting that the ice would not build up too much.
@sfeldphotos Thank you. I tried this one in color and in black & white. I felt that the reddish color of the buds distracted from the ice. The color made the buds look good. The black and white brought out the ice more.
