I didn't have much time today. I got sidetracked by the horrendous window replacement job done yesterday, and I was in a state of angst most of the day. I actually still am.
I got my regularly scheduled "walk and talk" in with my friend in upstate NY, and we marveled at the fact that in the one week since we talked, SO MUCH had happened.
I was probably not much fun to talk to as I had a lot of complaints in my head. I needed to shop for groceries after my walk, so I decided to make grilled sausages, and baked potatoes, onions, and peppers together at the same time.
This is what I call--get your dinner in 30 and I liked the result. As my vegan daughter returns late tonight, I made sure that this batch was vegan-friendly. The meal put together with sausages is here: https://365project.org/darylo/didn-t-make-cut/2021-01-10
@grammyn we eat very little meat these days, but sometimes when I am running late and can use the grill, it's the easiest choice. I can't even remember the last time I had sausages, but when the vegan daughter is home, we stick to her diet mostly. I have been doing vegetarian meals for the past 3-4 months. All good, but there are times, I just want a full meal with meat options. :)
You're making me hungry!
We're the exact opposite at the mo - abolutely nothing is happening here (which in context is a good thing I guess!) so we've not much to talk about.
@jamibann it is a NIGHTMARE. I'm very sad at the moment as I was so looking forward to using the new windows and getting the energy savings, but I'm afraid I have bought from the wrong people as far as the install goes. My anxiety is not good on normal days; now I'm just a wreck and kicking myself. :(
@humphreyhippo My country has been on a crash course for at least 4 years with something dramatic happening every day--trying not to numb myself because it's just awful. :(
