This is my super weak spot as far as food goes. I could eat and eat and eat this combo of veggies with my Asian styled sauce. Works with any type of protein (plant or other as well). I try not to eat this late in the week as I will gain a pound or two. haha, but I wanted it for Friday night, and I'm working on editing, so no new photos -- tomorrow, for Easter, my husband and I will go to Gibbs Gardens together finally! When we had our little foster dog, we couldn't take her and we could leave her alone since she was so anxious when folks left her. It'll be nice to do something together!
Marinade for ground chicken or turkey or tofu:
Cook the protein in a non-stick pan until done. Then add this sauce to it after it cools down, then mix with cabbage, and any other veggies: bell pepper, carrots, cucumbers, edamame, anything you like.
1 T Hoisin Sauce
2 T soy Sauce
2 T Rice wine vinegar
1 tsp thai chili garlic paste
1 T fresh ginger minced
3 garlic cloves minced
2 tsp sesame oil
