My first day on St. Simon's Island, my friend took me to the pier where a large barge (in the news) is being extracted from the waterway and where the local fishermen spend their days hoping for catches from fish to sharks to sting rays. We say one man bring in a ray that was at least 50 pounds.
At the other end of the pier, a family was fishing and a little girl was making friends with this old worn out pelican. The father caught a small fish, and she tossed it to him, but he missed the fish. But luckily I had my fast shutter on for the attempt!
