@June has asked me to see some urban interest of form or style or quirkiness or intricate detail. Since I was in the mountains, it was a little hard to capture this kind of shot, BUT, I took this one of the old (still working) drugstore sign in Blue Ridge, GA--I imagine it was quite the urban addition years ago to this little quaint railroad town in the mountains!
I also looooove neon signs, and I thought this one was a beauty. Can't wait to try more urban shots if I can get into Atlanta in the next couple of days. Otherwise, @June, it'll be "urban" Roswell, GA. Great challenge!
Brilliant. Love the angle you chose, and the subtle yellow on the guttering , which I guess is the faint echo of the yellow in the light. A 'film' quality. Super.
@june Yay! I hope to get another tomorrow and Friday--I love urban shots. I can't wait for the day my children fly off to college and my hubby and I move back into the city. :)
