Thanks to everyone for your comments on my cross from yesterday. My mother-in-law is still in a very fragile state, and it looks like I may be heading her way to see what I can do. I had no opportunity for photos today, but I set up my tripod and took a photo of my favorite ornament that I have hanging from my dining room chandelier all the time.
Thanks all. Sorry, I won't be online much at all, and the plan at the moment is for me to travel to Mexico on Christmas day (but that may change). Much heartache here with the distance and not knowing enough, but she is still not Lucid and is in ICU. That's all I really know and we can only hope for the best. I'm not used to traveling internationally on the fly, so I'm doing my best to figure out tech gear (phones, computers) so I can communicate back home for guidance and support. And trying to make this as "normal" a holiday for the girls as possible before I leave (if I leave--that is still in the air as we need one last Dr. report before I go). So, don't know when I'll be back on. I will post a photo a day, but in the unlikely event I don't make it back on for any commenting before the end of the year, I love you all! Thanks for everything--such a wonderful supportive community. I'm hoping I'll get another opportunity to be on to say hi and congrats on the end of a year, but just don't know what's in the cards. Merry Christmas, happy holidays, and thanks for giving me the best year of my life creatively. :)
Sounds like you are having to be in firefighting mode yourself. Do hope your mother- in-law makes a speedy recovery and that if you travel it all goes smoothly. What a shame for you all, particularly over Christmas. Sending you all good wishes.
