Third Week - Autumn Olive by darylo

Third Week - Autumn Olive

Happy St. Patrick's Day to all!

Oh dear, the rain descended and I had to muster the courage to climb the hill to my pest plant and get a shot while the wind blew, the rains spat, and my umbrella knocked the plant. New view and most likely different bud. If you look to the new shoot below, a cup of rain sits waiting for spring fairies to drink. Cold, miserable weather.

Here was one week before: http://365project.org/darylo/365/2014-03-10

If you click on monthly view, you can see that this is the third week of this plant's progress (Autumn Olive).

Beautiful! My yard is full of invasive pest plants/trees but the birds and squirrels don't seem to care.

Super. It's nice to see new growth. I have noticed that the hedgerows around here are suddenly turning a beautiful shade of spring green. It seems that nothing can stop spring now (hopefully!)

@nanalisarocks They are natural animal/bird feeders. Kept in check and pruned appropriately, I think they are just fine. It saves me from buying bird feed and assures me that the animals have what they need. :)

I like the monthly calendar view that shows progress so clearly. I also like that I can see the range of backgrounds that capture the various weather conditions.
