Once again, my cherry blossom never disappoints, slowly emerging and announcing its first real bloom on the first day of spring! I opted for the pov of the other buds vs. the inside of the bloom as I suspect my final week next week will show it all in its glory.
My first day of spring was spent at my father's complex where he has his own plot of garden to tend. Unfortunately, the weeds have taken over, but we worked together to eradicate the weed invasion in preparation of a "new plan" for the spring. Such a lovely day. Full sun, not too hot, and now I'm nursing a slightly painful back. But it's a good pain, nothing a little ibuprophen and some sweet tea can't fix!
It was also so nice to use my macro clip with a tighter aperture so I could give more definition to the total bloom. Wait till next week!
This is gorgeous!! I love cherry blossom it is so pretty. However my neighbour has a huge tree which as soon as the blossom opens seems to drop and fall straight onto my drive way. Oh dear am i turning into an old misery? LOL!!
