Rural NZ

Tractors are a common sight around NZ roads in the summer. Today, we were following our son, Josh, as he headed back to base after baling hay for a small block owner. He's very proud to be able to use his poppa's baler to complete the job.
Nice shot... not so common to see the small balers.. but good to have one for the lifestylers...

Great shot, not common to see the small baler these days.

Small bales of straw are handy too for gardeners. Must be a busy time for balers I see a lot on the roads down here also.

Sure know it's hay baling time when you get stuck behind one of these on the road. Nice photo

Plenty around here too :)

Busy time for hay harvesters. Any baled hay is money in the bank.

We find them here too! Great capture

Beautiful capture. Probably you will find them here, too. Our fields are too small for the bigger ones.

We get lots of tractors in my part of England too but I've never seen one of these attachments.
Nice composition and shot.

Cool shot. I always think they look hard to drive with them being so big! - Lucy

These are a much handier size for anyone handling the bales....you need so much more machinery for the larger ones. We loved at the make of course, the first thing you do!

Great shot of this beautiful agriculture machinery

Love it... as long as I'm not stuck behind on my way home ;-)

And you've started your second year project! I'm happy you're continuing. I bet Josh's dad was proud to see his son in the baler.

Love to see this rural shot.

Lots around here as well. A bit unnerving when one is coming toward you at night with his lights. Looks like an alien spaceship. Haha
