I took this image the other evening, while we were all learning techniques on how to photograph sunsets. Everyone was intent on capturing the scene, so I took a long exposure, showing some sense of movement and some pretty impressive cameras and tripods. What a great 3 day course, run by Alan and Kim Cox from NZ Photoworkshops. They are based in Dunedin and are both great teachers. A thoroughly enjoyable experience.
Yep.. Shadow Allan, Ashley, Ron, Me surveying the situation and Kim... and it looks like your and my bags are about to go over the edge of the cliff... what a great night that was, fantastic sunset and the seals were so cute even the one that took a fancy to me..
@julzmaioro Yep - Julz was busy photographing the view, when a sudden noise came from behind her! A very large seal was headed up to his nighttime spot on the top of the cliff - somewhat frighteningly close to where Julz was situated!
Stunning result of a slow shutter speed Dianne, possibly the professional's are in black as they have not moved much taking 13 seconds to compose their shots, and the amateurs are the ones in red, well what can you say of them, lol:)
