Avocado by dide

Avocado

Our new avocado tree. While they are little, they are frost tender, so we have a wee shelter around them and put a blanket over the top if it looks like we are going to have a frost.
lovely healthy looking baby :)

Plant heaps!! They are so cheap over here that I eat them all the time, coming home to $6 per avocado is going to be hard!

I like your framing and the interior texture framing the plant.

Look after it well, avos are so versatile - and yummy. We put shade-cloth 'houses' over our chilli plants for winter and they seem to survive just fine.

I remember the avocado trees that grew in my backyard in Zimbabwe, they were huge. How lovely to see this little one starting. Fav for the memory!
