The pines

These lovely old pines are up the road from our place. After last night's high winds, some of the more interesting branches have been broken. I guess one day they will just blow over … I wouldn't have been surprised if they had gone last night! We had some huge gusts of wind and some gusts were clocked at 198 km per hour. We've a bit of damage - some trees down, but the house and sheds are still standing.

The wind sounds horrendous - much more than we had here. These old trees look quite interesting and at least you have a photographic record before they do blow over. I'm glad your house and sheds are ok.
