The swarm

One of the schools where I work has just had a beehive installed. Yesterday, I took the kids out and we looked at the bees and where they could forage food from. We had a great wander round, then did some reading in class, before they wrote their stories. We followed up with some artwork - not bad for 6 year olds!
These are lovely and such a valuable experience for everyone

This is a wonderful idea - explore nature, then tell the impressions with words and pictures.
Great drawings!
