This is looking out the dining room window. I love looking down on all the trees we have planted and seeing them really flourishing even though we have just come out of a very dry summer. It's lucky I cleaned the windows a few days ago, otherwise you wouldn't have seen anything!
NZ is on day 20 of a 28 day lockdown. We have had 9 COVID-19 deaths and the numbers of infections are rapidly dropping. We have passed the peak and heading in the right direction, so we may get to Level three next week. 'School' officially starts tomorrow, so I am ready to roll with on-line lessons for the kids.
@maggiemae@dide@pusspup@pcoulson we are lucky to be living in the country as there’s always something to do. Each morning I shift the electric fence and give the eight cattle new grass. There are two small calves to bucket feed, a couple of dogs, chooks and ducks to feed.
Oh what a stunning view. I love seeing photos of the New Zealand country side. Makes me feel close to home :) As for the windows...I had to clean mine the other day too because I was taking a photo of the bears looking out the window :)
I had forgotten your tree planting until you mentioned it. It’s such a worthwhile thing to do I think & we get so much pleasure watching ours grow. That’s a job I was going to do today wash the inside of my kitchen window!
I've been reading so much about your wonderful leader. I envy you her strong decision-making, transparency, empathy, and wisdom in listening to advice and acting on it. Glad to see NZ is doing well overall. Certainly compared to what I am seeing at the national level here. Fortunately our city/state have a strong governor and mayor who are working together and working hard to serve the citizens here.
