@julzmaioro gave me a cute bunch of homegrown flowers last weekend. Although they are past their best, they were good enough to take photos of today. It has been pouring with rain all day and parts of Auckland are flooded meaning some houses are badly damaged and residents have had to evacuate. We were supposed to go to the Elton John concert tonight, but a couple of weeks ago we decided the Covid risk was too high, as we are due to head to the South Island next weekend. Our daughter was going tonight, but we've just heard it has been cancelled due to weather conditions. It's such a pity, as these Elton concerts were replacements for when he was here in 2020 and got pneumonia.
