Working The Joint by digitalrn

Working The Joint

It may not look like a big workout but it is quite painful. I have been having some pain in my thumb joint that I had replaced a few years back. Went to the orthopedic surgeon who did the work and he checked it out. The joint is fine so at this time I will do some of my own physical therapy. A small weight to work out the joint. This getting old is for the birds!
Keep it up Rick hope it does the trick

I also have pain in my thumb but without the surgery. I think i'll stay away from the knife. Especially if you still have pain after the surgery.

I like this composition. And I totally hear you about how painful something so easy for others can be

Your last sentence summed it up! Spend way too much time trying to prevent possible trouble than I really like! Good shot of an every day thing at this house!

The poor birds getting blamed for so many things, but I agree with you. a little exercise might do wonders. I finally have some relief from my rotary cup pain.

Reminds me of my left wrist which I broke 3 times in my life - I had to do all those workouts but, thank God, it has always healed perfectly.

If it weren't for the grandchildren getting old would be a complete disaster! Hope the PT works for you.

Hope that works. When I had tendonitis in my thumb, I played with silly putty to build it up enough to graduate up to a can of soup. Took forever, but you seem to be doing nicely with the weights. Hope it feels better soon.
