Through A Good Book

Compared to some of the avid readers I know, and that includes my Wife, I've never read many books in my life, but when I find one that grabs my attention from the very beginning, I do not have a problem reading it through to the end. You find a good book and you can open up a whole new world before you.
This is awesome.

Exactly right! I get a bit guilty reading and think of other things that need doing so don't read for too long! This photo looks like a Rembrandt!

I see you're making use of the extra album. I must admit that since I'm on 365 I've neglected reading books.

Very creative. Love it. The older I get the less I seem to have time to read but, as you said, if it is a good book then I can read it in one day.

As a librarian, I'm asking the obvious question -- what is the book you are so avidly reading?

@mrssmith203 @allie912 Carla, if I were to name my favorite book, it would most definitely be, "When The Chisel Hits The Rock" by Fred Renich. That book alone helped to shape me into the person I am today. It was one of the first books I read through, and it is full of personal notes. It focuses on the life of Simon Peter, and how he was sculptured into the man God wanted him to be. Allison, the book in my photo is a book written by a friend, Marian Bellamy, "Goldie & Androcles" a fable that highlights growing up and many fond memories. This particular book is one she signed for my Grand Daughter Kassidy.

I'll have to look for this book. I'll add it to my summer reading list.
