That I have officially successfully completed and passed my final, most gruelling, exams ever... that at the end of this year, I will have completed my medicine degree!!! (You can call me "Dr" after I graduate early next year, if you were wondering... :P)
The reason why I am posting this here on 365 specifically is because I've been through some incredibly rough patches this year, and almost not made it through my studies... but the continual feedback and support and encouragement from this very community was a big part of what kept me going! I keep saying that this is by far one of the most open, supportive and friendly website communities around, and each one of you is responsible for making that happen (and I suppose Ross too!).
Feels weird to not have to constantly have my nose in a book studying any more... Surreal, actually! But now I can more closely focus on my favourite hobby in the world :)
Also my facebook page! I can't get over how much support it's getting. :) I'm getting close to 400 likes - crazy! Head over and check it out if you like :)
CONGRATULATIONS, thats fantastic! You must be so happy to be nearly qualified! I know exactly what you mean about this community, it's helped me
out on more than one occasion too:) Hope the rest of your year is as rewarding as finishing your project has been! Izzy xxx
Oh way to go!! I remember you wanting to drop out not too long ago. Good on you for finishing! Ps... didn't realise you had an FB page... have now liked :) You have some great shots and now you have a little more time... you can go crazy ;)
Amazing that you found the time to do 365 while studying to be a doctor! It puts me to shame for the times I have commented on how much time it takes for me in my life to do this! You have a right to feel proud with this accomplishment,Dr. Teresa!
congratulations. what an accomplishment. my son just completed his phd in education, know how difficult a task you have undertaken. in medicine, no less! what is your specialty? your photos are incredible, btw.
What an amazing accomplishment!!! Congratulations and I am so happy for you! I bet the it feels so great to focus on something else for a while too! Again, congrats!!!!
Congratulations Dr! I was a nurse and later Health Visitor. You will find that this is just the beginning though as there is always so much to learn especially as new treatments etc come on board. It will be nice though to have more time for photography!
Congratulaitons! Do you still have residency to complete? What area are you going to specialize? Family, Internal med, other? I hope you continue to find photography as a means to reduce stress.
Well done Teresa. I'm a DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) rather than an MD but I well remember the relief of having taken that last exam. Go out and treat yourself- you deserve it!
WOW congratulations, hope I can follow in your footsteps (waiting on my exam results to see if I have got into my final year of my degree)! This site is amazing and I certainly would feel lost without it :) Once again well done x
Congrats. All I can think of is the scene from "Spys Like Us" .....
Dr. Dr. Dr. Dr. etc.....if you haven't seen it, you should look it up. Chevy Chase/Dan Akroyd movie from the 80's (I know you're down under, so may not have heard of any of this...)
Well done, thats a massive achievement.. Its hard to imagine life without books. I sit my final psychology exam tomorrow.. So I roughly know how you feel.
I hope you get chance to relax a little before moving forward x
Oh, and here's your link down here so people can "click" on it! :)
