Favorite picture of your project December 1-7 and Why

December 8th, 2012
Post your favorite photo of your own project from this past week to share with those that may not otherwise see it. Lets also put WHY or WHAT about it you like.
There were some really great photographs last week. It is fun to see what you like of your posts as it is not always what everyone else chooses.

There are two easy ways to add pictures on to the discussion.
The first is a full size photo: 1) Click on your favorite photo and bring up its page. 2)Look at the right side of your monitor, and go to the word SHARE (it is below tags) 3) go to the box and copy the long address 4) Come back to the discussion, and then paste.
The second is to have a smaller file size so to keep the site from getting overwhelmed. http://365project.org/discuss/general/1323/how-to-adding-an-image-in-a-discussion.

My favorite of the week because it was fun to try different set ups and see what I could do for winter photos.
December 8th, 2012
I never like pictures of myself.....and don't have a fondness for shooting people in general. But, Marlie makes this shot!

December 8th, 2012
Here's mine, we had a little snow yey :-)

December 8th, 2012
since I was sick for half of that time frame with that horrible flu that's going around and I didn't start to feel better until after I decided to add some Tabasco to my chicken noodle soup, I'm going with this shot:

Christmas + bokeh + new ornament from vacation = favorite pic of the week!

December 8th, 2012
This was full of firsts for me...first HDR that turned out and I did some things in PSE for the first time, including layer masks. I had a lot of fun doing it; and although far from perfect, I was excited with how it turned out.

December 8th, 2012
I rarely take a sunrise shot, and thought this one was nice
December 8th, 2012
Because it was a respite from stress.
December 8th, 2012
December 8th, 2012
i like this one. i don't really have a reason.

This one:

A lot of my photos for last week weren't very creative or interesting, but I like this one of my boyfriend. Forever sticking a camera in his face while he's trying to do things... :P
December 8th, 2012

My November rainbow. Because it was so much work and i like the result :)
December 8th, 2012
Practice with portraits..

December 8th, 2012
This one because it shows how much fun I have with my analogue project I'm doining since september. No editing for me this year just the pictures how they come back from the lab.
December 8th, 2012
My kids both share birthdays during December.

December 8th, 2012
I like this shot because it helps me to get in the Christmas mood -- and it is certainly time to get in the mood and get shopping!

December 8th, 2012
This one cos it's silly!
December 8th, 2012
I loved this - it was one of my early shots with my new camera and I loved the detail.

December 8th, 2012
Not an especially great photo, but I chose this one because it was a friends first public performance as singer of this band, and a fun night for all...

December 8th, 2012
Because I really rushed to arrive on time to capture the sunrise... The metro was so full that I have to wait for another one to get on and I arrived a little bit late... Thanks all for your comments and favs.

December 8th, 2012
this one because it turned out so great! :)
December 8th, 2012

I went back and looked at this and was blown away. At first I wasn't going to post, but changed my mind after a few days and seeing in HD
December 8th, 2012
This shot was taken at the Christmas parade, while the float was moving. Although I feel that I had a little bit of soft focus, I feel like I am getting better at taking parade pictures.

December 8th, 2012
I like street rods, and this '38 Ford sure looked good at the car show:

December 8th, 2012
Because it beautifully symbolizes the holiday season in NYC:

December 8th, 2012
This one! Because I love fog and I've been wanting to catch a fisherman in this spot for a long time. It was a serendipitous moment.

December 8th, 2012
Because it's totally "me" and was a fun edit

December 8th, 2012
Playing with my new nifty 50mm f/1.4... handheld :)

December 8th, 2012
I like the angle of my shot focusing on the sheer strength of the gymnasts hands, arms and legs.
December 8th, 2012
I liked this as it combined a lot of my favorite elements: fog, trees, lines and reflections.
December 8th, 2012
This is my first decent photo of a bird in the wild. He was sitting in a tree, I was walking by, he didn't move, lucky me.
December 8th, 2012
I like this one as it's my first real go at Bokeh...
December 8th, 2012
I love the colours on this one a the sprinkling of frost
December 8th, 2012
I rather like this one, as it's my first "Official" Christmas shot of the year!

December 8th, 2012
this as its a totally different shot for me - picking up tips from my camera club
December 8th, 2012
This one, because... well, it just brings back memories.

December 8th, 2012
This photo feels like DC to me. The mounted patrols are very interactive with the tourists and we see them every season at all sorts of events. This was my favorite photo this week.

December 8th, 2012
My friends uber Christmas lights.

December 8th, 2012
It was weird to see, made me wonder what was going on over there
December 8th, 2012

Just having fun with color!
December 8th, 2012

I liked this one because it was just such a pretty day and I liked the vivid colors.
December 8th, 2012
This one because everything just seemed to come together on it. Great morning light, reflection, sharpness.

December 8th, 2012
I love the mood that this one creates, and that I managed to use the fact that it clouded over rapidly to my advantage
December 8th, 2012
Jim
This is actually one of my favorite pictures of my project so far, becasue I didn't do anything to it, and I was so happy with the tones and the detail and the reflection especially when you view it large
December 8th, 2012
Tough call, I really like the photo of a reindeer on my table as I've wanted reindeer for so long, but this one, 'Gilbert', wins by a hair as I managed to work out how to get the image that I wanted.
December 8th, 2012
This one, because it's simple and exactly as intended:

December 8th, 2012
The unusual bright light refractions from magnificent stained glass windows upon the arches.

December 8th, 2012
I chose this one simply because I love snow! I like the way the snow is sitting on the branches.

December 8th, 2012
This one because it was one of the five finalist photos in the weekly pink theme. My first time as a finalist.

December 9th, 2012
December 9th, 2012
I really like how you can see the bee reaching out to hold onto the stamen in this shot
December 9th, 2012
I had a couple I really liked this week. I loved my sunset one, but for this one I really thought about where I wanted the lines to be, and the photo looked just as I had hoped
December 9th, 2012
Sue

Long Reef, Sydney .... I had the beach to my self (unusual) I like the obsturity of finding a wash tub & tap at a Sydney beach, the colour & softness of the boat & sea in the background.
December 9th, 2012
Because I tried something new and had a lot of fun doing it. Thank you 365!

December 9th, 2012

Loved the colors, and was two days away from my project being DONE! :)
December 9th, 2012
I liked how the bokeh came out and Frosty has been a part of our Christmas for many years so he has special meaning to me.
December 9th, 2012
I like this because it was so hard for me to capture. I saw the lights in the puddle and I loved them, but no matter what setting I put my camera on I couldn't get it. I was so pleasantly surprised when I downloaded my photos that this came out so nifty.
December 9th, 2012

love it 'cus it's soooo deliciously yummy!!

December is a bokeh-lover's dream :) Bring on the lights!
December 9th, 2012

Because to me it speaks a little to the magic that surrounds Christmas.
December 9th, 2012
this one... altho' i'm at a loss to explain why... it's b&w... it's kind of eerie... i guess i just find it transporting...

December 9th, 2012
Lyn
because I was able to capture exactly how the drizzly night felt and because of the surreal sort of effect:

December 9th, 2012
I took this one last night on the 7th and am very pleased with it. That's moving lights in the background not static, so I had to guess for its placement behind the mug.

December 9th, 2012
My parents and my kids, how can I not love it!
December 9th, 2012
Childhood memories...

December 9th, 2012

I just love the HDR look of this Picture..it has wonderful colors and details..and it almost looks like a pencil sketching ..I love it! @bdb3471
December 9th, 2012
Tough One! This one I think, by a narrow margin over the day before

December 9th, 2012

This is my fave...I just love the layers of blue water, mountains & sky behind the abstract lines the bare tree branches make.
December 9th, 2012
Because I rediscovered this spot.
December 9th, 2012
It has to be this one... I love it and other people did too as it was my first ever PP (and probably my last!).

December 9th, 2012
Probably this one. It wasn't my best week...
December 10th, 2012
I liked this shot. I really liked the color and variety of buildings.
December 10th, 2012
Monty's first trip to the farm after his last innoculation, he had an awesome time:

December 10th, 2012
I love this picture of my nephews. I quite like the contrast of expression: attention from the young one and the vacant distraction of the elder.

December 10th, 2012
@sassik Love your rediscovery!!

I chose this one, taken on December 5th (Country Road) because it was a spur of the moment road trip with a friend to my mountain and I didn't intend to take pictures. I had only intended to show her where a lot of my treasures came from. Had it not been for wanting to show her where I get a lot of my shots, I wouldn't have gotten this great shot of the clouds rolling in and the dirt road going around the bend.

December 11th, 2012
December 11th, 2012
This one because it's such a cool plant and now I know the name of it!
December 13th, 2012
This is my fave for the week it gives me a little giggle every time I see it!
