Favorite picture of your project December 22-28 and Why

December 30th, 2012
Post your favorite photo of your own project from this past week to share with those that may not otherwise see it. Lets also put WHY or WHAT about it you like.
There were some really great photographs last week. It is fun to see what you like of your posts as it is not always what everyone else chooses.

There are two easy ways to add pictures on to the discussion.
The first is a full size photo: 1) Click on your favorite photo and bring up its page. 2)Look at the right side of your monitor, and go to the word SHARE (it is below tags) 3) go to the box and copy the long address 4) Come back to the discussion, and then paste.
The second is to have a smaller file size so to keep the site from getting overwhelmed. http://365project.org/discuss/general/1323/how-to-adding-an-image-in-a-discussion.

I like the open water and ice on the same lake.
December 30th, 2012
It just worked itself
December 30th, 2012
this one... because this is one of those shots that you get because you have your camera with you and just happen to come across something beautiful. I also had very little time to get the shot, as I was stopped on a bridge (which is a big no no around here). The funny thing is, I was afraid it would be too dark for others to like it, and it was my most popular shot of the week.
December 30th, 2012
Just took this today but it's definitely my favorite of the week. Love the lighting and bokeh =)
December 30th, 2012
This one because I'd been meaning to take it for awhile and everything came together and I finally got the shot. That and my girls are so stinkin' adorable and I love to see them happy and smiling at each other like this!
December 30th, 2012
The bees in my garden have provided me with lots of great photo opps this year and I am very grateful for having learned so much about how to get the best shot. Love how this guy has his hands up in the air

December 30th, 2012
this one... after a lot of trial and error, it ended up pretty much as i wanted it... all light, shadow and line...

December 30th, 2012
I live in the desert, so I don't get many chances to experiment with pictures of running water.
December 30th, 2012
I love the intensity in this shot. I just got in the goose's face and it just stared right back at me.

December 30th, 2012

I just really liked that spot of color.
December 30th, 2012
My favourite because it took split timing and my son was such a good sport

December 30th, 2012
Definitely this one, I think its my favorite of my project! It all came together, the jetty, the birds, and the carefree feel of childhood and summer!

December 30th, 2012
This one is my favorite from this week because I have been feeling like I am in a slump, finally feel like I am inspired again, and the fact that it's a portrait of my little girl, makes it even more special for me.
December 30th, 2012
This one is of my favorite model. I also like the way the white out situation of the sky caused that pretty blue. I was exposing for the model and I was happy with how this worked out. :-)

December 30th, 2012
This one as I just imagine the hummer is having a great time.

December 30th, 2012
This one, because it was a good day out in the wilderness.
December 30th, 2012
It would have to be this one because it wraps up a great snowshoe trek in one shot; deep snow, huge mountains, untamed wilderness, and someone to carry my gear! ;) @jsorensenart

December 30th, 2012
I like how this one turned out, especially because I wasn't feeling so great on this particular day.

December 30th, 2012
This one... because it's so storybook Christmas.

December 30th, 2012
@grizzlysghost LOL, i'm nobody's sherpa !!!

December 30th, 2012
Because it is a picture of 3 of my favourite people!
December 30th, 2012

Sometimes the one you love is Not the one anyone else loves. This shot of my brand new Godson hanging with the gift I gave him for Chriastmas is my favorite for a few reasons. No 1: Hello, he is Adorable! No 2: I was very worried about pee, but stayed dry No 3: My first newborn shoot!!!

December 30th, 2012
This shot because it was my first time doing long exposure night shots and I was so happy how well it turned out. That and I had chocolate for dinner and fun with Sarah (@saranna) laughing, talking and taking pics :)

December 30th, 2012
This one from 12/24 - I don't often get to shoot frost, and this was just an incredible morning. I especially liked the light and composition of this particular shot.

December 30th, 2012
Definitely this one as I had never done a selective colour shot that I was pleased with. Also I love long exposure shots.
December 30th, 2012

Only two to pick from this week... piss-poor quality but it was Christmas Eve and I was excited :)
December 30th, 2012
My project for the week has been filled with Christmas bokeh. This is my favorite as I like the composition:

Taken December 24th, this is my favorite because I captured something I wasn't expecting...an exact duplicate of the sun on a lake half ice and half water...

I like this pic of a robin in our garden for two reasons. Firstly it is a nice pose and his colouring is so lovely and secondly, he is posing in a tree which is a natural environment for him rather than on the bird table. Also it made the PP

January 1st, 2013
My daughter on Christmas eve-She's 28 (believe it or not) and there might have been a little "Christmas cheer" flowing... I have NO idea what setting I used as I was twiddling knobs like crazy, but I really LOVE this pic. LOVELOVELOVE for so many reasons. It was part of my Christmas collage.
