As I finished my first year few days ago, I was looking at my project and realize I didn't do a lot of panoramas, but I really like that format...so inspire me please, show me yours :)
Here some of mine :
-taken in Australia Uluru, taken with my iPhone, it's not excellent, there's a curve on the horizon
-taken on a beach in south of France:
-same place but vertical ( but it has been "crushed" a bit):
I just realized that I have no panos on the project...something to keepme busy next week...but I have to put up my all time favourite, shot by Alan Warren @brizmako who has sadly given us up for a higher calling.
This is a view from the hospital room my husband is in-I am just learning how to use this feature-there was a glaring sun and a dirty window to deal with. This one came out the best
Thanks Laura, for sharing , I just found an app on my iohone to do "planet" with your panorama, it's called "tiny planets"...I'm sure going to try ! @la_photographic
The Penobscot River at Fort Knox and Bucksport - This panorama is two photos taken from the top floor of the Penobscot Narrows Observatory last summer, merged in Photobucket. The night before, at sunset, I was standing on top of Cadillac Mountain, the highest peak on the horizon, third mountain from the right.
@parkerriverkid very well done Patricia, very nice view, beautiful enlarged. I always use the panorama from my camera or my iPhone, i've never done one with 2 photos...
A horizontal, but again of architecture. Stitching the details of large architecture I find interesting and challenging. A whole different set of problems from the classic landscapes.
@frankhymus my last camera (Sony RX100) does vertical panorama...had a lot of fun to use it...I've done some of landscape it's like cutting slices of world, love it ! Thanks for sharing yours ;)
@sjoblues Shannon the 3 are very nice, my favorite would be the Ault Park sunset, the shadows and the colors give a dramatic effect I love, it wil do a fab "tiny planet"
@kkolstad OOoh Kristen, it's fabulous ! 5 shots to do your panorama...the horizon is perfectly straight... Beautiful buildings, huge stadium, mountains, water....I want to visit Vancouver now ! Thank you !
@maaikel fantastic, I must admit I have to "googlize" "Sprocket Rocket" because I had never heard of that before, so now I know what you are talking about, I will go to bed less stupid !
I've seen the multi exposures...so much possibilities !
By the way, really love the your panoramas !!
Thanks for sharing :)
This is a 7 image, single row night panorama shot of Oak Bay Marina in Victoria, BC. I shot this with my Nikon D600, Nikkor 105mm f/2.8 VR lens, and ProMaster T325P SystemPRO tripod... it's best viewed up at Gigapan:
@cocobella I'm not sure how to get a panorama on this page so I've uploaded one for you on my page for today. You gave me a "let out" for today. Read my blog and you'll understand - thanks. I have another if you care to indicate how others got shots onto this page. I think you might find me as journeyman2598.
@gabrielklee Ooh Gabriel, the 3 shots are fantastic ! They deserve to be viewed enlarged for sure ! Beach, green mountain, town....are you working on giving everybody the envy to move to Brazil ? Or to spend our future vacations ?....it works.... ;)
I caught this one off my deck last night... 3 image night time long exposure shot of Victoria's Inner Harbour, showing the Empress, the Royal BC museum and the Legislature. Stitched with Hugin.... check the Gigapan link to see the detail:
@cocobella Hi, thanks for your kind words and welcome. I still haven't got the hang of linking my shot to your discussion page. There's another one there for you today. Michael

Sunrise from where I work.
Organ pavilion at Balboa Park in San Diego.
This one was a happy accident. Turned out kind of neat.
This one was an experiment. Read about it on the pic's page. I'm hoping to get a chance to take it again this year without the polariser installed.
This is my effort of a panorama showing Manchester on a none rainy day which is pretty rare. Its also HDR.
@cocobella

Took this one today while waiting for the horses to finish their breakfast (and trying to think about ANYTHING other than how cold I was)
