Tracie Broadhead @tracie8266 started a thread asking about how to do steel wool photographs which inspired me to want to see steel wool photos. I would love to see yours. Please share them here. I've never done one before.
There you go! I am fortunate enough to have hooked up with a local photography meetup group that loves doing nighttime photography, and especially steel wool. They are a lot of fun!
@trm TR, right under your picture on the right are three little dots. Click on them and a screen will come up with Embed Code in it. You can just highlight the code, copy it an paste it in here and your picture will come up. I hope this helps.
Marilyn if you decide to try steel wool photography please read up what you will need and what precautions to take. Whoever is slinging the steel wool will need to be covered from head to toe IMO. Please be super aware of the ground cover. As much fun as this is it can can go very wrong very fast.
I am going to try my hand at using some glow sticks and maybe sparklers this fall. Heck here in Tennessee it does not get dark till almost 9:00 PM CST
@trm Your shot is awesome and thank you for the info. I'm actually a little afraid to try it but my husband said he might like to try sometime. I did click on a link on how you can do it safely so that was helpful. I'll have to think more on whether to attempt it or not.

Would love to try one myself but you can't do anything like this on the beaches here & I can't think of anywhere else but maybe one day :)
in an abandoned POW camp...probably not the best idea!
My first effort at steel wool.... might have to have another go, love the walking spirals......
Touch swinging from a string on the ceiling, camera on the floor
