Friday's here, time to prepare for the weekend and put away the work laptop from the dining room for a bit of normality! Also it's time to peruse last week's uploads and share one with the wider 365 community.
To share your photo, click on the arrow underneath the photo, copy the data and paste it in the thead below. The magic monkeys will convert the gobble-de-gook into your picture.
Do take a moment to type why you like this one the most from your week.
Me? Managed to spot a sitting (standing?) dragonfly, snuck up on it, managed a few shots, this the only decent one!
Thank you to all who upload to, and check out, this thread, have a safe and sane week!
What I like about this one is that I had posted one with a cropped version earlier, and then in my sleep I realized that the original composition was better because the rough old fence added texture and color that contrasted the bird's color and soft feathers -- so I posted a second photo of this cowbird:
I like this one because of the light contrast. The darkness giving way to the light is for me a metaphor for our times. For many we are living in a time of darkness but there is also light and we are walking towards it on the footpath of life.
This cat frequently wanders around the local estuary. A typical cat who chooses when it wants to be friendly and when it appears to look at you almost with disdain. I love the challenge of getting close enough to get a good photo.
I've posted two images of this bridge this week.I think the other image is technically a better one. However I prefer this one, telling the story of Granmonster Kara paddling away in search of adventure.
It's got to be this macro. This little guy /gal literally fell into my lap while I was having coffee with a friend on her deck so I took him / her home for a photo shoot in pretty flowers.
