My flashback is a flashback! Posted here 1st July 17, it was a throwback to the early 2000โs. Scan of a print. I like the image, but technically it is, well, bad. At this point I donโt know if it was the scan or what. But I probably wouldnโt post something like this now.
This is a weird one. In the summer of 2014 the city decided they needed to drain the neighbourhood pond to clean it out. As the water level dropped the fish in the pond became 'sitting ducks' for predatory herons. We often have one, sometimes even 2 herons at the pond but on this day we had at least 7 around the edge of the pool.
This photo made me think of the song with the lyrics, "I am a Line Man for the County." Taken in 2014 and I remember taking it without too much thought or set up. The sunset got my attention.
