@northy
My official answer is "because Paula said so" lol. Paula's answer: "I got the idea originally from the TOminute (Toronto Minute) and they had 5:47pm as their start time. After some thought, I decided it was a good time, as *most* ppl would be done with work, after daylight savings there was still some decent light to work with, and it wasn't too late in the day that most ppl have packed it in for the day."

Can't add to the country count because your country is already represented? Or you don't have a facebook? Or I managed to screw something up and the link isn't working?
@golftragic
Absolutely! Next Year's event will take place on Thursday, March 15th 2018 at 5:47 p.m. If you have a Facebook account, you can "register" your interest by clicking interested, going etc on the following link and more information and reminders will be provided to you as the date draws nearer. I will certainly provide more information and reminders here on 365 closer to that date for anyone who does not have Facebook access.
@mej2011 Thanks Melissa. I do have a FB account, but don't often use it. I'll have to change my ways, don't want to miss out on interesting stuff like this.
