Happy December everyone… the silly season is officially upon us and we’re into the final few weeks of the 52 Week Challenge 😊
Tomorrow, Monday December 4th, sees us into Week 49 of the 52 Week Challenge, and the theme for the week is:
Story: Blue Hour
The Blue Hour is the hour after sunset or the hour before sunrise when the sky is dominated by amazing blue and purple hues. Use this to tell your story this week.

We’re almost done with our themes for this year, but there are still a few weeks to get involved – to find out more, you can read the original post which has a list of themes for the year at this link: 365project.org/discuss/themes-competitions/29105/52-week-challenge
As I say each week, comment below if you’d like to be added to the list for a weekly theme notification, or if you’ve been receiving them and would like to be removed from the list.
i have totally fallen off the wagon and even got hit by the wagon following behind! :-D the technical themes were my undoing really, but also i got caught up with my 52 portraits of me challenge. if i don't do this blue hour thing, i probably should just give it up. far cry from last year when i did all 52 without fail. but thank you, mel, for your efforts and leading us on this challenge.
Oh my gosh... what a perfect theme for up here, on the Arctic Ocean, 350 miles north of the Arctic Circle. We only have one hour of 'twilight', no sun on the horizon for the next two months... and the snow is an eery cold blue in the low light as the sun runs around under the horizon. You couldn't have picked a better fit! lol
Thank you, Mel for running this great challenge all year. I wasn't able to get them all done - (but then the year isn't over yet, is it?)
But I really enjoyed getting your posts every Sunday night, and thinking what to do!
@farmreporter I've really enjoyed doing it all year, and even though I've totally fallen behind myself at this stage I'll carry on with (hopefully) renewed vigour when the 2018 list is posted :)
