Anchor Island by dkbarnett

Anchor Island

This was quite a long walk up to a lake and as you can see by the photo, not exactly a walk in the park!! Lots of tree roots and lots of mud. I carried my camera backpack and tripod with me on all the walks. At one point I missed a handhold and ended up face down stuck between a tree and a fallen log! I am glad no one was around to witness!
Just don't put your feet on the roots. I hope that you were rewarded with a nice view of the lake.

@yaorenliu The lake actually wasn't that pretty, but the skipper had some pet eels in the lake. He takes meat to feed them each time he visits. - that was really interesting to see.

A very difficult path. It's easy to fall and it's good to have a helping hand.

A real wilderness. Hope you let someone know where you're going in case you don't make it back when you plan to so the search party will know where to look for you.

Looks like a lot of concentration was needed on this one! But they are usually the most fun I think.....
