Thanks for visiting. No need to comment. Just filling in. This was taken on a sunny day and the light was not conducive to the atmosphere that I wanted to capture. Played around a bit in Gimp to focus the attention on the Pieta statue as the lady sitting in front of it was probably praying for her dearly departed. I left enough light in front of the lady and on the adjoining statue of Christ to communicate that death was conquered by the Light.
